San Diego, CA. – One person was hurt in a hit-and-run pedestrian accident that happened Friday night in San Diego, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The incident was reported around 9:09 p.m. on the southbound 805 Freeway near Clairemont Mesa Boulevard.
According to a party reporting the accident, his car's engine broke down, and a friend pulled over behind him to offer help.
When the friend exited the car, he hot hit by another passing vehicle. That vehicle did not stop after the accident.
Emergency personnel responded to the scene and found a black Dodge Charger and a white Dodge Charger stopped on the right shoulder.
The victim was taken to Sharp Memorial Hospital with the complaint of pain to the right leg and left rib.
Authorities are investigating the incident.
