A Honda Odyssey, a Toyota Camry, and a possible third vehicle were involved in the accident.
One person was trapped and unresponsive in the Odyssey.
Fontana firefighters responded to the scene shortly after the accident and freed the victim.
One person was killed in the crash, the report said.
Another person was transported to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center with unspecified injuries.
Authorities are investigating to determine the cause of the collision.
