, California – Two people were injured early Tuesday morning in a two-vehicle collision in downtown Los Angeles, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

The collision happened around 1:04 a.m., at the intersection of Third and Alameda streets.

Police said a silver Chevrolet Camaro and another vehicle collided at the intersection.

A fire hydrant was damaged during the accident.

Both drivers were taken to the hospital in unknown conditions.
