Puyallup, WA. – A motorcyclist died, and an impaired driver was arrested after a head-on collision that happened Sunday afternoon at an intersection in Puyallup.
The crash occurred around 5:30 p.m. at 120th Avenue Court East and 152nd Street East near South Hill.
According to investigators, a DUI suspect was driving recklessly eastbound on 152nd Street East when they crossed the center line into oncoming traffic.
The car collided head-on with one motorcycle and hit another. The vehicle continued, knocking down street signs and a school fire hydrant before coming to a stop.
One motorcyclist died at the scene.
The condition of the other motorcyclist was not mentioned.
Police officers arrested the driver on suspicion of vehicular homicide.
