According to the California Highway Patrol, the mishap happened at around 10:55 p.m. on the northbound State Route 101 just north of Reseda Boulevard.
Responding crews said three vehicles were involved in the accident. The manner in which they collided was not immediately established.
At least one person sustained minor injuries.
