Tucson, AZ – The Arizona Department of Public Safety has identified a female passenger killed along her 11-year-old son on 10 Freeway in Tucson Sunday evening as 42-year-old Stephanie Marie Codina.

Reportedly, one car had been involved in a non-injury collision, and a second vehicle pulled over on the median shoulder to help.
For unknown reasons, a commercial vehicle struck the first car before rear-ending the second car.
The driver of the second car was unhurt while their passengers, Codina and a her 11-year-old son were declared dead at the crash site.
No additional details about the accident were provided.
An investigation into the incident is underway.
