North Sacramento, CA. – Two people were hospitalized after a multi-vehicle collision that happened Tuesday afternoon in North Sacramento, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The pileup occurred around 4:04 p.m. on eastbound Interstate 80 at Northgate Boulevard.
Four vehicles, including a Subaru SUV and a silver Kia SUV, were involved in the crash.
Firefighters and paramedics responded to the scene and evaluated the motorists.
Two people sustained minor injuries. One of them was taken to Sutter Medical Center, and the other was transported to Sutter Memorial Hospital for treatment.
Authorities are investigating the cause of the collision.
