Amanda Castillo died after a Jeep rear-ended a semi-truck and caught fire on I-5 near Roxford Street late night on May 29

Los Angeles County, CA – The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner's Office has identified one of the two people who died in a fiery two-vehicle traffic collision on Interstate 5 in Sylmar last week Thursday.
The Medical Examiner identified the victim as 35-year-old Amanda Castillo. The second victim has not been identified.
According to CHP, a gray Jeep Grand Cherokee crashed into the rear of a semi-truck and burst into flames. Fire personnel responded to the scene and managed to put out the fire, but Castillo and another unidentified victim died in the crash.
No one else was injured.
The incident happened at about 10:42 p.m. on May 29 on northbound Interstate 5 at Roxford Street.

Los Angeles County, CA. – Two people died in a fiery big rig collision that happened Thursday night on a freeway in Sylmar, the Los Angeles Fire Department reported.
The wreck occurred around 10:42 p.m. on the northbound 5 Freeway near Roxford Street.
A car and a big rig were involved in the crash. The car caught fire and became fully engulfed.
A 40-year-old man and a 30-year-old woman were killed in the accident, according to LAFD.
