Rocklin, CA. – A driver died after his car crashed into a wall Thursday afternoon in Rocklin, authorities reported.
The solo-vehicle collision occurred around 12:30 p.m. along Sierra College Boulevard near Bass Pro Drive.
According to the Rocklin Police Department, the adult male driver of the car crashed into a wall near a major shopping center under unclear circumstances.
The man died in the accident.
He was the only occupant of the vehicle which caught fire after the wreck.
Bass Pro Drive between Sierra College Blvd and Schriber Way was closed as RPD's Major Accident Investigation Team worked the scene.
