The Poulsbo man was transported to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle where he later died
Suquamish, WA. – A 77-year-old man died after being struck by a vehicle on Monday evening in Suquamish.
According to the Washington State Patrol, the accident happened around 8:45 p.m. on Highway 305 near George Lane.
Steven McAbee had been standing at the center turn lane and was walking towards the shoulder when he was hit by a northbound Scion xD driven by a 43-year-old University Place man.
The Poulsbo man was transported to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle where he later died.
The driver was unhurt and was taken into custody with unknown charges.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
