The man who was driving the Camry was pronounced dead at the accident scene

Quincy, WA. – One person was killed in a high-speed collision on Friday morning in Quincy.
According to the Washington State Patrol, the accident happened around 3:15 a.m. on State Route 281 near milepost 9.
A silver 2007 Toyota Camry was traveling northbound at a high rate of speed when it rear-ended a 2023 semi-truck trailer.
The 36-year-old Quincy man who was driving the Camry was pronounced dead at the accident scene.
The truck driver, 58-year-old Randey D. Boen, also of Quincy, was not injured.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
