Florin, CA. – Injuries were reported in a collision involving a bicyclist in Florin on Friday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The incident took place on Barrymore Drive and Calvine Road at around 7:48 a.m. June 6.
A juvenile was reportedly riding a bike in the area when they were hit by a vehicle.
The victim, a 10-year-old Elk Grove elementary school student, sustained minor leg injuries and was transported to a hospital for treatment.
The driver of the involved vehicle stayed at the scene after the collision.
The accident is under investigation.
