The teen driver and ten other people were hospitalized with injuries ranging from minor injuries to broken bones

Lacey, WA. – At least eleven people were injured in a fiery multi-vehicle collision caused by a teen driver speeding away from the police on Saturday afternoon in Lacey.
According to Lacey Police Department, the accident happened around 3:15 p.m. in the area of 14th Avenue Southeast and Ruddell Road Southeast.
A Lacey police officer attempted to pull over a 2014 Dodge Charger that was being driven recklessly on College Street Southeast.
The 19-year-old driver failed to yield and sped on 14th Avenue Southeast before crashing into three other cars at Ruddell Road Southeast.
The Charger caught fire after the collision.
The teen driver and ten other people were hospitalized with injuries ranging from minor injuries to broken bones.
The suspect was arrested for vehicular assault and booked into Thurston County Jail.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
