The driver and passenger were transported to area hospitals where the driver later died
Portland, OR. – One person died and another was injured in a car crash at an intersection in Portland on Monday evening.
According to the police, the accident happened around 7:24 p.m. at the intersection of Northwest St. Helens Road and Northwest Bridge Avenue.
A vehicle was traveling on the roadway when he crashed into the rear of a semi-truck.
The driver and passenger were transported to area hospitals with serious injuries
Sadly, the female driver died while receiving treatment.
The truck driver stayed at the accident scene and cooperated with the police.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
