The teenage driver was airlifted to Providence Holy Cross Medical Center in Mission Hills
Castaic, CA. – Esteban Gonzalez, 15, was killed in a car crash on Monday evening in Castaic.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened around 4:31 p.m. on Hasley Canyon Road near Sloan Canyon Road.
A single vehicle left the roadway and crashed.
Gonzalez was a passenger in the car and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The teenage driver sustained serious injuries and was transported by helicopter to Providence Holy Cross Medical Center in Mission Hills.
Two other passengers were also transported to Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital in Valencia.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
