According to Phoenix police, a man in his 40s was trying to walk across Indian School Road outside of the crosswalk when a car hit him
Phoenix, AZ.- A man was hit and killed by a vehicle in Phoenix on Friday night, according to the Phoenix Police Department.
The incident took place shortly before 9:30 p.m. June 13, near 18th Avenue and Indian School Road.
According to Phoenix police, a man in his 40s was trying to walk across Indian School Road outside of the crosswalk when a car hit him.
The victim was then hit by at least two other vehicles.
He was rushed to a hospital, where he was later pronounced deceased.
The involved drivers left the scene afer the incident.
The accident remains under investigation.
