Seattle, WA. – One person was injured in a two-vehicle collision in Seattle on Friday night.

According to the Seattle Police Department, the accident happened around 10:20 p.m. at Martin Luther King Jr. Way South and South Dakota Street.

Two vehicles were involved in the accident. The crash knocked down a tree, a walkway sign and a fire hydrant.

One driver was injured in the accident and was taken to Harborview Medical Center.

The second car's driver fled the scene on foot but was located and arrested.

An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
