Eugene, OR. – One person was injured in a car accident early Monday morning in Eugene.
According to the Eugene Police Department, the accident happened around 5 a.m. at Highway 99 and Roosevelt Boulevard.
A 19-year-old man was driving a Lexus RX at a high rate of speed when it collided with a Dodge Ram truck operated by a 39-year-old man.
The driver of the Lexus was extricated by firefighters and was transported to the local hospital for treatment.
The driver of the Dodge pickup truck was unhurt.
