Phoenix, AZ – A 35-year-old man, identified as Thomas Frost, is dead following a traffic collision at an intersection in central Phoenix Tuesday morning.
The deadly crash happened shortly after 9 a.m. near 7th Avenue and McDowell Road, according to the Phoenix Police Department.
A preliminary investigation revealed that an SUV was turning left when it struck a scooter traveling eastbound on McDowell Road.
The scooter driver, later identified as Thomas Frost, was transported to the hospital where he later died from his injuries, police said.
The driver of the SUV did not appear to be impaired.
No additional information is available.
The crash remains under investigation.
