A semi-truck carrying heavy equipment reportedly crashed with a semi-truck hauling cauliflower

Baker, CA.- Two people were injured in a collision between two big rigs near Baker early Wednesday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The incident took place on the northbound Interstate 15 at about 3:30 a.m. June 18.
A semi-truck carrying heavy equipment reportedly crashed with a semi-truck hauling cauliflower.
The impact caused the second rig to burst into flames and it spread into the cauliflower.
The two motorists were transported with minor injuries.
Two northbound lanes were shut down for over one hour as authorities worked to clear the scene.
An investigation into the collision is ongoing.
