Phoenix, AZ.- One person was killed in a crash that left a police officer injured in north Phoenix on Thursday evening, according to the authorities.
The wreck took place in the area of Cave Creek and Pinnacle roads at about 7:30 p.m. June 19.
According to the report, a passenger car was involved in the crash with a Phoenix Police Department vehicle.
The civilian was taken to a hospital, where they were pronounced deceased.
The officer was transported to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Authorities are investigating to determine the cause of the collision.
