San Diego, CA – The pedestrian who was hit and killed early Friday on Interstate 5 in San Diego has been identified.
The County Medical Examiner identified the victim as Doohyuk Chang, 29.
SDPD said Chang was struck by multiple vehicles while on a transition ramp on northbound I-5, south of Hawthorn Street at about 12:46 a.m. on June 20.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident transpired around 12:46 a.m. on the northbound 5 Freeway near Hawthorn Street.
The CHP report said a pedestrian was struck by an unknown car under unclear circumstances.
A witness told authorities that the vehicle continued after hitting the victim.
The pedestrian died from injuries suffered in the crash.
