Long Beach, CA. – A pedestrian died in a traffic collision that happened Tuesday night on a transition road in Long Beach, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The incident occurred around 8:54 p.m. on the transition road from the northbound San Diego (405) Freeway to the southbound Long Beach (710) Freeway.
CHP officers and other emergency personnel responded to the scene.
A pedestrian was reportedly hit by two vehicles under unclear circumstances.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
Both drivers stopped and cooperated with investigators.
Authorities are investigating the accident.
