Bakersfield, CA – A man, identified as Daniel Armondo Miranda, 35, of Bakersfield, was killed in a solo-vehicle collision near Bakersfield Wednesday night.
The deadly crash took place at about 6:35 p.m. on June 25, 2025, on Famoso Road, east of Sherwood Avenue.
CHP said Miranda was driving a black 2015 Ford Fusion westbound on Famoso Road, east of Sherwood Avenue when, for some reason, the vehicle went off the roadway in a northwesterly direction and rolled onto a dirt shoulder.
Miranda was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash and was ejected from the vehicle.
The incident remains under investigation.
