Los Angeles, CA – The California Highway Patrol is investigating a two-vehicle crash that left a motorcyclist dead at an intersection in Los Angeles Friday night.
The deadly crash happened at about 7:25 p.m. in the area of Beach Street and Firestone Boulevard.
CHP said the motorcycle and a Toyota Rav4 were involved in the crash.
Responding crews found a motorcyclist on the roadway not breathing. The first responders performed CPR on the victim. Unfortunately, the rider succumbed to their injuries at the scene.
The name of the victim has not been released.
The Los Angeles County Fire crews were requested to shut down the intersection.
The crash remains under investigation
