The 40-year-old man from Tonasket who was driving the Subaru was taken to the hospital for treatment.
Omak, WA. – Two drivers and a child were injured in a car accident on Saturday evening in Omak.
According to the Washington State Patrol, the accident happened on State Route 97 near milepost 291 at around 4:52 p.m.
A 42-year-old Omak woman was driving a silver Toyota RAV on Dayton Avenue and was attempting to turn left onto SR-97 when it was struck by a black Subaru Forester reportedly ran a red light.
The driver of the Toyota and her 4-year-old passenger in a car seat were injured in the accident and were taken to Mid Valley Hospital.
The 40-year-old man from Tonasket who was driving the Subaru was taken to the hospital for treatment.
Police suspect the Subaru driver may have been impaired at the time of the accident.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
