Barstow, CA – At least one person was killed early Sunday morning in a wrong-way accident in Barstow, according to the authorities.

Authorities said a vehicle was traveling the wrong way on the freeway when it was involved in a collision. At least two vehicles, including a red Kia sedan, were involved in the collision. The sedan went down an embankment on the right-hand shoulder of the freeway after the collision.
At least one person was killed in the accident.
The accident closed southbound I-15 near Zzyzx Road.
