According to the PCSD, Becerra collided with another vehicle at about 8 p.m. on June 29 at the intersection of West Lambert Lane and West Sonoran Sands Lane in Marana.
Pima County, AZ – The Pima County Sheriff's Department is investigating a two-vehicle crash that killed an off-road motorcyclist in Pima County Sunday.
The Pima County Sheriff's Department identified the victim as 40-year-old Jesse W. Becerra.
According to the PCSD, Becerra collided with another vehicle at about 8 p.m. on June 29 at the intersection of West Lambert Lane and West Sonoran Sands Lane in Marana.
Investigators said Becerra was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash, adding that his motorcycle did not have lights and was not street-legal.
Becerra was seriously injured and was taken to a local hospital where he died on Tuesday, July 1.
The crash remains under investigation.
