Bakersfield, CA – A motorcyclist was killed in a two-vehicle crash in southwest Bakersfield early Thursday morning, according to Bakersfield Police Department.
The deadly crash occurred on July 3, 2025, at around 6:45 a.m. at the intersection of White Lane and Old River Road.
Reportedly, BPD officers responded to the scene and found an adult male motorcyclist down in the roadway with severe injuries.
The responding officers immediately began life-saving measures until medical aid arrived. Unfortunately, the man succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The victim's name was not immediately released.
The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators.
The intersection was shut down as crews and investigators worked at the scene.
The crash remains under investigation.
