An SUV rear-ended a semi-truck under unclear circumstances. The SUV stopped in the slow lane, and the semi-truck pulled on the right shoulder.
A third vehicle allegedly hit the SUV shortly after the initial crash.
Emergency personnel responded to the scene and transported one person to the hospital with minor injuries. It was unclear if the patient was hurt in the first or second collision.
CHP is investigating the incidents.
