Los Angeles, CA – The Los Angeles Police Department has released the name of a 25-year-old man who was killed after two vehicles collided in the Vermont Vista area of Los Angeles Saturday night.
LAPD identified the victim as Emerson Noel Escobar Gonzalez.
Authorities said a woman, in her 30s, was driving a Porsche Panamera southbound on Figueroa Street when she struck a vehicle operated by Emerson Gonzalez heading eastbound on 91st Street.
Gonzalez was trapped in the wreckage and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The female driver abandoned her vehicle and fled the scene on foot.
