Kent, WA – Two people were critically injured on Monday after a car crashed into a daycare in Kent, according to the authorities.
The accident happened on July 7, at the Little Pioneer Academy in the 515 block of E Smith Street.
Authorities said a car was traveling at a high rate of speed when it crashed into the daycare. The impact ripped off the side of the building.
There were no kids at the daycare at the time of the accident.
The two people in the car were taken to the hospital in critical condition.
A dog in the car survived the accident, according to daycare staff.
The Kent police are investigating the accident.
