The accident occurred around 9:25 p.m. at Claremont Avenue and The Uplands.
Nared was struck by a vehicle in the area under unclear circumstances.
Emergency personnel transported the victim to the hospital with severe injuries. The man later died while receiving treatment.
Nared was identified on Thursday. His city of residence was not mentioned.

Berkeley, CA. – A pedestrian was severely injured after being struck by a car Tuesday night at an intersection in Berkeley, authorities reported.
The incident occurred just before 9:30 p.m. at Claremont Avenue and The Uplands.
A man who appeared to be in his 50s was hit by a Hyundai under unclear circumstances.
First responders found the pedestrian unresponsive and bleeding from the head.
The victim was taken to Highland Hospital for treatment.
Due to the severity of the crash, the Berkeley Police Department's Fatal Accident Investigation Team responded to the scene to investigate.
The car was towed away from the scene.
