Lancaster, CA – The person who was killed after an off-road vehicle collided with another vehicle in Lancaster early Sunday morning has been identified.
The Los Angeles Medical Examiner's Office identified the deceased passenger as 36-year-old Juan Vital.
Authorities said a Can-Am Maverick and a Nissan Sentra collided at about 2:25 a.m. on July 13 on Avenue H west of 35th Street.
Vital, who was a passenger in the Can-Am, was ejected and died at the scene.
Investigators said the Nissan was traveling eastbound on Avenue H when it struck the Can-Am.

Authorities said a Nissan Sentra was traveling eastbound when it struck a Can-Am Maverick.
A man on the Can-Am Maverick was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not been released.
