A Caltrans vehicle was among three vehicles involved in the accident on State Route 299
Willow Creek, CA.- Five people were injured in a multi-vehicle collision in Willow Creek on Monday evening, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The incident took place on State Route 299 near mile marker 36, shortly after 6 p.m. July 14.
A Caltrans vehicle was among three vehicles involved in the accident.
At least one party was extricated from one of the vehicles.
Five people, including children, were injured in the collision.
A section of the roadway was shut down as authorities investigated the incident.
The investigation is ongoing.
