According to the report, Wood was attempting to walk across the northbound lanes of Campbell Avenue in a crosswalk when he was hit by a 2015 Jeep Wrangler on a green light

Tucson, AZ. – Thomas Francis Wood, 63, was hit and killed by a vehicle in Tucson on Monday night, according to the Tucson Police Department.
The incident took place at Campbell Avenue and Prince Road at about 9 p.m. July 14.
According to the report, Wood was attempting to walk across the northbound lanes of Campbell Avenue in a crosswalk when he was hit by a 2015 Jeep Wrangler on a green light.
Wood was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The 51-year-old driver of the Jeep stayed at the scene and was not suspected of DUI.
An investigation into the collision is ongoing.
