Gilroy, CA – A man was hit and killed by a motorcycle Tuesday night in Gilroy, according to the Gilroy Police Department.
The deadly accident happened just before 8:00 p.m. on July 15 near Santa Teresa Boulevard and Ballybunion Drive.
Police said the 61-year-old man was struck by a motorcycle and was taken to the hospital with major injuries, where he later died. His name has not been released.
The motorcyclist, a 53-year-old Gilroy man, was treated at the scene for minor injuries.
