Police reported that a bicyclist was heading south on Hoover Street on the sidewalk when he tried to cross the intersection and was hit by a white sedan that was trying to turn left onto 20th Street
Los Angeles, CA.– Police are looking for a hit-and-run motorist who left a bicyclist with severe injuries in the Pico-Union neighborhood of Los Angeles in May.
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the wreck happened in the area of Hoover Street and 20th Street at around 3:15 a.m. on May 28.
Police reported that a bicyclist was heading south on Hoover Street on the sidewalk when he tried to cross the intersection and was hit by a white sedan that was trying to turn left onto 20th Street.
The sedan drove off after colliding with the bicyclist.
The bicyclist, a man in his 60s, was taken to a hospital with major injuries.
The LAPD is investigating the accident.
