Victorville, CA – The authorities have identified one of the two people who were killed in a two-vehicle crash on Air Expressway in Victorville Saturday night.
The San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department identified the deceased victim as Destiny Simon, 18, of San Bernardino. An Adelanto Adult male was also killed in the crash. Another person, identified as Jalen Kendall, 19, of Helendale was hospitalized with critical injuries.
Investigators said the deadly wreck took place in the westbound lanes of Air Expressway, just east of Ranch Road, at about 8:48 a.m. July 19.
Simon was a passenger in a silver 2004 Mercedes-Benz CLK 320, operated by Kendall, that collided with a silver 1998 Honda Accord LX, operated by the Adelanto man.

Victorville, CA – Two people were killed in a car accident in Victorville on Saturday night, according to the authorities.
The wreck took place on Air Expressway, just east of Ranch Road, at about 8:48 a.m. July 19.
According to the report, a silver 2004 Mercedes-Benz CLK 320 and a silver 1998 Honda Accord LX were involved in the crash in the eastbound lanes of Air Expressway.
An elderly man in the Honda and a woman in the Mercedes were both pronounced deceased at the scene.
A man in the Mercedes was transported with critical injuries.
Roads were shut down in the area as authorities worked to clear the scene.
The cause of the incident is under investigation.
