Tucson, AZ.- A woman was killed in a two-vehicle crash in Tucson on Wednesday morning, according to a report by the Pima County Sheriff's Department.
The wreck took place on July 30 in the area of North La Cholla Boulevard and North Fountain Avenue.
Deputies reported that Marilyn Young, 88, was driving a Honda Accord west on North Fountain Avenue when a northbound Chrysler 300C operated by a juvenile driver T-boned her.
Young succumbed to her injuries at the scene.
The juvenile driver was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Authorities reported that speed is believed to have been a factor in the incident.
The crash is under investigation.
