According to the CHP, a 2016 Hyundai was traveling eastbound on Rosamond Boulevard when it collided head-on with an oncoming 2004 Honda
Rosamond, CA.– Jonathon Rubio was injured in a deadly car accident that happened in Rosamond on Tuesday afternoon, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The incident took place at about 2:20 p.m. July 27, in the area of W Rosamond Boulevard and 45th St W.
According to the CHP, a 2016 Hyundai was traveling eastbound on Rosamond Boulevard when it collided head-on with an oncoming 2004 Honda.
The driver of the Hyundai, who was not immediately identified, was taken to Antelope Valley Hospital, where she was pronounced deceased.
The other driver, identified as Rubio, was also taken to Antelope Valley Hospital with major injuries.
Impairment is suspected to have played a role in the incident.
The investigation is ongoing.
