Point Loma, CA.- A pedestrian was struck and injured by a vehicle in Point Loma on Sunday morning, according to the San Diego Police Department.
The incident happened in the 4100 block of Sports Arena Boulevard at about 3:22 a.m.
According to the police, a 2015 Toyota Rav4 was traveling southbound on Sports Arena Boulevard when it struck a man who was trying to walk across the road.
The victim was rushed to a hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The driver stayed at the scene after the accident.
The investigation is ongoing.
