Phelan, California (October 30, 2021) – At least one person was injured in a crash between two pickup trucks in Phelan on Saturday afternoon, according to the County Fire Department.

Firefighters responded to the incident at around 12:01 p.m. on Johnson Road.

According to the report, a brown hauling hay collided with a red truck under unclear circumstances.

The red truck reportedly rolled onto its side due to the impact of the crash.

Firefighters extricated the driver of the red truck. The driver, a 62-year-old man, was transported by ambulance to Stater Brothers shopping center and then flown to University Medical Center.

The extent of the patient's injuries was not specified.

It's unclear whether the second driver was injured.

The CHP Station is investigating the incident.
