Bus Crash Victim Airlifted from Crash at Wilson Valley Road and Sage Road in Temecula
Aguanga, California (June 16, 2022) – One person was airlifted to the hospital after being injured in a collision involving a school bus in Aguanga on Thursday morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at Wilson Valley Road and Sage Road at around 6 a.m.
A school bus is reported to have collided with a black van on the roadway in unclear circumstances.
Firefighters who responded to the incident had to use the jaws of life to help one person from the wreckage
One person was seriously injured in the crash and was airlifted to Inland Valley Hospital for treatment.
Another person sustained minor injuries in the accident.
Officials say there were no children inside the bus at the time of the crash.
More details about the crash were not provided.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
