1 Airlifted After Multi-Car Crash on 5 Freeway and Panoche Road in Firebaugh

Firebaugh, CA. – A male party was airlifted to the hospital following a multi-vehicle accident on Sunday night in Firebaugh.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at around 10:35 p.m. June 30, on the northbound , just north of Panoche Road.

Police confirmed four vehicles were involved in the collision.

Emergency teams rushed to the scene to aid the victims. A male individual was bleeding and his upper body was numb due to the collision. The patient was flown to the hospital for treatment.

Authorities blocked both northbound lanes to give way to an air ambulance. The two lanes were re-opened at 12:01 a.m.

Tow trucks were requested to remove the cars from the scene.
