1 Airlifted after Mojave Crash on Highway 14 near Horse Canyon Road

Mojave, California (July 3, 2022) – One person was seriously injured in a two-vehicle collision that occurred on Sunday afternoon in Mojave.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened on near Horse Canyon Road at around 12:22 p.m.

A big rig and a Ford sedan were involved in the collision. The impact of the crash sent both vehicles off the roadway.

Officials say at least one person sustained major injuries in the crash and was flown to the hospital for treatment.

Three other people were hospitalized with unspecified injuries.

An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
