Victorville, CA – One person was critically injured in a traffic collision at an intersection in Victorville Tuesday morning.
According to the Victorville Police Department, the wreck happened at around 11:41 a.m. December 3 at Bear Valley Road and 9th Avenue.
Responding crews located a gold-colored SUV with front-end damage and a blue Honda Civic with the driver's side smashed in.
Firefighters extricated an occupant from the Honda that was trapped.
The victim suffered critical injuries and an airship was requested to transport them to an out-of-area trauma center.
The male driver of the SUV was evaluated for injuries but declined medical transportation at the scene.
The collision impacted the westbound lanes of Bear Valley Road.
