Portland, OR.- A person riding a bicycle was killed in a collision that happened in Portland on Sunday evening, according to the Portland Police Bureau.
The collision happened on Southeast 145th Avenue and Southeast Powell Boulevard at about 7 p.m. July 13.
Police reported that an elderly man was riding a bike in the area when he was struck by a suspected DUI motorist.
The bicyclist was taken to a hospital, where he was later pronounced deceased.
The driver was arrested and booked on charges including DUI and negligent homicide.
An investigation into the collision is ongoing.
