1 Injured in Two-Vehicle Collision on I-880 Freeway near Oaks Street in Oakland
Oakland, California (October 1, 2021) – One person was transported to the hospital after being injured in a car accident in Oakland on Thursday night.
The collision happened on southbound 880 Freeway near Oak Street at about 8:13 p.m. September 30, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Two vehicles were involved in the accident. The manner in which the accident happened, however, was not immediately established.
The vehicles sustained major damages in the collision.
The CHP said at least one person was hurt in the collision and was transported to the hospital for treatment.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
