As per the CHP, two vehicles – described as a red Toyota Tacoma and a black SUV – were involved in the crash.
The driver of the Tacoma sustained moderate injuries and a concussion. The patient was transported to Community Regional Medical Center.
According to the CHP, a firearm was found in one of the vehicles.
